Coffee Origen promotes the production of sustainable coffees in balance with the environment, without leaving aside the practices that elevate the quality of the bean from the physical and sensory aspects. This quality, in a high percentage, is due to the agro-ecological conditions of the region, in addition to the fact that the majority of these coffees are produced at altitudes of more than 1700 meters above sea level.

Within the various functions of Coffee Origen, we provide direct technical support to small producers, seeking continuous improvement in the farms of each of the farming families that are part of the various programs run by the company, resulting in a fair price for coffee growers and a product of excellent quality for our customers.

The group “COFFEE ORIGEN GRUPO ORGANICO SUR DEL HUILA” is made up of small producers who produce under the culture of organic agriculture, the group has the certification seals to market coffee in the international market under the regulations NOP/USDA, (EC) 834/2007 and 889/2008, JAS “JAPANESE AGRICULTURAL STANDARDS”, the coffee growers who make up this group are farmers who for years have implemented practices consistent with organic agriculture, which are implemented in their production units for the production of their crops.
