Cencoic is an entity of the solidarity sector, which began its activity in 1980, to strengthen the various economic forms of the communities, supporting the development of the 8th point of struggle of the regional organization.
From its beginnings, CENCOIC strengthened the first economic forms of the indigenous communities, such as: community stores, groups and community enterprises, being its main activity the distribution of basic goods and the purchase of crops from the communities.
Since 2004, Cencoic has been developing a fair trade strategy that seeks to reduce the imbalance in the balance of trade, dominated by the national monopoly, the large roasters and multinationals, in order to provide coffee producing families with a greater benefit per unit produced, strengthening the policy of organic production in the communities.
We develop production, commercialization and export activities of specialty and organic coffee.
