Kopakama is located in Rutsiro, Karongi District, in the western province of Rwanda. . Started in 1998, they produce Arabica Bourbon and Jackson varieties focusing on A1 FW specialty grade. The production capacity is of 360 MT. Organic, Fairtrade and RFA certificates. 1042 farmers work with Kopakama operating in Nyagatare, Mukura and Mushubati CWS. Coffee produced have cherry, tangerine and cedar notes, with a heavy aroma of blackberry, dark chocolate and raisin. The rich body and long black tea finish carry nicely into the aftertaste.
